Another refresher course has been provided to Used Car and CV Team in order for them to re-learn the Credit’s process in evaluating loan applications. The course was conducted by none other than the Credit Department Head, Ms. Van Penalba who has 13 years of experience in Credit.
During the discussion, the challenges that each team experienced have been shared. Bottom line, all the requirements to support the loan application must be submitted, so that Credit will have the basis to pass or reject the accounts.
Overall, everyone has learned some key takeaways from the course.

“Four years ago, having been chosen to be part of a soon to be established company”, is a once in a lifetime opportunity and this has brought my career to the next level. All I have for this company is respect and gratitude. As my baby, from the time I started, until now, I commit to nurture it,make it resilient, and help make it grow as this pandemic continues to challenge us.”
- JENNY ALEJAGA
2018 was such an awesome year for me. It was the time when I found the desire to work once again in a corporate office. I met a lot of wonderful people who have been part of my daily life here at Yulon – superiors and colleagues who believed and showed support; great team mates who were willing to work hard and help each other to accomplish things for the company. Together, we got through the tough times and moved forward through 2019. Though the inevitable suddenly came and slowed down the company operations for the next couple of years, I still consider myself blessed enough to still be here to celebrate my 4th year this 2022.
I believe that all things happen for a reason. Our experiences, good or bad, really teach us a lot, helps us with our maturity and understanding.
Thank you Yulon for the 4 years of great experiences!
I wish all the best to the YFP management and employees. May YFP continue to grow and become the best financing company in the Philippines.
- ERLYNJOSE
YFP is a start-up financing company from Taiwan and joining them is the major leap of faith I took in my life. I was working in a bank for almost a decade that time and all I wanted was to prove if I can step out of my comfort zone and create a department from scratch. Four years later, along with the triumphs and challenges, especially during pandemic, I'm still here, doing my best and fulfilling my personal mission to help the company fly one day at a time. It's my first time to have an expat bosses and it's refreshing to be able to exchange ideas with my bosses. I'm always looking forward to our meetings, no matter how light or dreadful it will be (Haha!), because I always pick up something new as soon as I stepped out of the boardroom after the discussion.
YFP became the bridge on meeting so many amazing people, most especially my team.
I am grateful that YFP provided me the opportunity to learn and further hone my skills. More than anything, I'm grateful for the trust they gave me to run a very crucial department.
YFP is part of who I am right now and I wouldn't have it any other way.
- VAN PEÑALBA
I have been part YFP since 2018 , and I must say it has been a rewarding experience from all points of view. I’ve had the chance to work with professional and disciplined people, during which I have improved my skills and learned that working as a team to reach the company’s goal is how YFP has built its reputation. I feel a great sense of achievement working for this company.
